Experience and Skills
As a software developer at Datadog, I have gained hands-on experience working with scalable distributed systems, observability tools, and cloud infrastructure. My role has allowed me to build and optimize high-performance backend services, develop modern frontend applications, and contribute to the observability ecosystem using Datadog's own tools.
In my first year, I focused on mastering Node, Express and TypeScript (React) while working with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure. I built and integrated RESTful APIs, gRPC services, and Kafka-based message queues, ensuring reliable data flow across microservices.
I developed a real-time system metrics dashboard aggregating telemetry from distributed services via Kafka, using Node.js and Express for ingestion and a React-based frontend for visualization. The platform was deployed on Kubernetes using Terraform and monitored with OpenTelemetry and Prometheus.
I later participated in refactoring a high-volume data ingestion pipeline processing millions of telemetry events per hour, replacing synchronous APIs with Kafka-driven event streams and introducing fine-grained access control using OAuth2 and scoped tokens. These changes reduced latency by 28% while improving throughput under load.
I also actively participated in on-call rotations, incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortems, collaborating with SREs to improve alerting, reliability, and operational processes.
LuvNote — Full-Stack Product Ownership
I independently architected, developed, and deployed LuvNote, a production-grade, cross-platform mobile application supporting iOS, Android, and Web from a single codebase.
The frontend was built using React Native, Expo, TypeScript, and React 19, implementing advanced UI patterns such as gesture-driven interactions, swipe-based cards, animations, and real-time messaging flows.
On the backend, I designed and implemented 49 RESTful API controllers using ASP.NET Core 9.0 following Clean Architecture, repository patterns, dependency injection, and DTO-based data contracts. The system is backed by PostgreSQL with 202+ managed database migrations, reflecting sustained product evolution and schema versioning.
I deployed and operated the full cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, utilizing App Service, Blob Storage, Static Web Apps, Managed Identity, and Azure Key Vault to ensure secure configuration, secret management, and scalable production workloads.
I implemented Dockerized CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for automated builds, testing, and deployments across environments.
LuvNote includes a comprehensive multi-provider payment system integrating Stripe, PayPal, Apple In-App Purchases, Google Play Billing, and Braintree, with secure webhook validation, subscription lifecycle management, and purchase verification.
I also integrated Spotify, Apple Music, Instagram (Meta Graph API), Ticketmaster, Edmtrain, and OpenAI GPT-4o-mini to power music discovery, influencer automation, event aggregation, and AI-assisted messaging.
Security was a core focus throughout development, including JWT authentication, OAuth 2.0 flows, BCrypt password hashing, secure token storage, and GDPR-compliant user data workflows.
Teos Technology — Full-Stack Engineering Intern
I am currently concluding my internship with Teos Technology, a startup focused on building a modern, full-stack application platform. While the specific product details are protected under NDA, my work involved end-to-end full-stack development across frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure.
I collaborated closely with senior engineers and product stakeholders to design and implement scalable application features, contributing production-ready code while adhering to best practices in code quality, testing, and architectural consistency.
My role emphasized rapid iteration, cross-functional communication, and ownership of features from design through deployment. This experience strengthened my ability to operate in startup environments, balancing speed with long-term maintainability and security.
As I complete this internship, I am transitioning toward my next full-time engineering role, bringing with me hands-on experience building and shipping real-world software at scale.
Thanks for considering my application!
